Etherium gas fees solved

So, I recently picked up some Loopring because of a rumored partnership and it’s been great to me. While holding, I did some research on it and really like what’s it’s capable of. The pay to learn vids on CB say it’s like Eth but 100x cheaper gas fees and works 1000x faster. If this is true, why not use it instead?

Obviously this is not financial advice, I bought on a rumor and lucked out and I’m literally just throwing beer money at it, not any large amount. I just want to learn more about it.
