Lost faith in Cardano. Looking for opinions

As title says. I was big on cardano for a while but the more I read the lower my mood goes on it. If I’m missing something that should keep me invested please let me know. I’m just not seeing anything that hasn’t already been done by others and sometimes better by others. I really wanted it to work, it’s not me, it’s ADA.
What are some things to look into that aren’t Algo, Dot, Lrc, Eth,Btc, cro, amp, atom (already in these). I’m looking at Long term hodl, not a flip or meme coin either. I may just roll it into my existing projects but I’ve been a bit disconnected on research lately.
Don’t need shill posts. Just want to see what others see as something for me to read into.
Edit: thanks all. Made my move. Took my gains from Ada, went to another playground. Need to see innovation not imitation.
