The common man is oblivious to crypto

Recently told my immediate family that I was getting into the crypto space. I put in a reasonable investment, and my family thinks I’m brain dead. My dad- who has always handled the money in our family- stated “I’ve heard that the value of aged wines has greatly outpaced cryptos of all kinds. Some bottles of wine have even increased in value by as much as 80% this past year! Don’t buy crypto junk that’s worthless. Buy something with actual value!”

I almost shit myself. Anyways, I told them that many cryptocurrency’s saw bull runs of several hundred percent in the past year. They simply don’t believe me though. They think it’s a lie. They don’t honestly believe people invested in those cryptos and made money from them.

TLDR: Selling all my ETH to go long on wine
