Could it be good that many alt-coins might fall and not recover (Does crypto need a purge)?

Let’s be real, there’s so much trash out there – and a lot of us have likely thrown a good chunk at some pretty wishful moonshots. Now as we go through what points to just the beginning of a bear market, it seems apparent that this could and will probably be a period whereafter a lot of cryptos potentially don’t recover. But, should they? Do we actually want them to? The newness of crypto to the mainstream and its influencers combined with the sometimes absurd nature of the developing NFT scene has greatly distracted in the real potential of crypto and its looming useful impact on our daily lives. Wouldn’t it be better to put our value into the coins that will actually do work for or service us on multiple levels? Maybe its time to stop video gambling with shitcoins and rugpulls and focus on the tokens that will take us into a future of greater possibility.
