I love statistics and spreadsheets, so here are some numbers I’ve crunched on this lazy saturday. Not sure when I will be able to post since there are 2 Moon posts in top 50 already.
Feel free to correct my english (still learning) and of course my numbers.
This is a medium-effort-post™!
Exclusive Hodler Clubs
Here is the amount you will need to enter the top [x] of moonhodlers (9/17/2022):
Club Moon count to enter (rounded) Top 1 (Jeff Bezos of Moons) 1,110,072 Top 10 (“I wish I was #1”) 418,591 Top 20 223,088 Top 50 (“we still count as whales”) 79,424 Top 100 47,434 Top 200 25,512 Top 500 (“at least we’re not shrimp”) 11,245 Top 1,000 6,085
Distribution
There are many users with less than 1,000 moons, this is why only the richest 4% are pictured in this diagram. It’s using a logarithmic scale, otherwise we wouldn’t see the small numbers anymore :
Facts
There are 155,346 users on the list. 1.4M Moons on addresses of known swaps or exchanges 50M Moons do not have a known address or username u/ryancflam somehow managed to have 0,000000000000000002 Moons (2E-18). By far (400x) the smallest non-zero vault balance! Of course, some values may be shown as zero due to rounding or data formats used in the source, idk. 24,759 users have less than 1 Moon. The whaliest 1% own roughly 62% of all moons in user vaults (for USA net worth it’s 32%). The shrimpiest 50% own 0.29% of all moons in user vaults (for USA net worth it’s 2.6%).
For this stats I only counted addresses connected to users. I didn’t count the Moon Distribution user, wallets without a username, exchanges, swaps and others.
Have a nice [insert day here]!
