So I’m using BTC as a standard on this because it is the most well known and well access coin. Based on the numbers that came from https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html
There is about 34 million wallets with $1 or more. There is 1,605,802 wallets holding $10k+. This making it out to be 4.6% of wallets have $10k+.
Go for $1m+. Only 27,819 wallets. And that’s 0.0008%.
For $100k+ that’s 0.7% or 243,702 wallets.
This means 2 things.
Nearly all of us is poor. It’s basically the poor leading the poor to not be poor. (I could easily link this to how broken our gov systems are where we have to go to these links to try to make it since “working hard” and “studying” doesn’t cut it.) I’m sure when you take a look at other coins with voting power. It is a lot less decentralized than you might think.
