1497 MOONs = Brazil’s currently minimum wage

Another MOON’s appreciation post with a dose of cruel reality. Let me do some basic math:

I’m brazillian and for 2023 the minimum wage on Brazil is 1302 reais. Trust me, a huge part of the population survives with this only (and I am not too far from that).

Currently MOON value according to Coinmarketcap = 0.1652 US dollars.

As 1 brazillian real is 0.19 US dollars, 1302 reais is 247.38 dollars or 1497 MOONs.

So, I just need to shitpost my way up to 1497 MOONs each month to get what the average worker receives in a 8am to 5pm job. Interesting.
