As the overall market cap keeps dropping today, over $209,000,000 worth of positions just got liquidated from the market.
The largest single liquidation order happened on Bitmex – XBT/USD value of $2.61M.
As the market is trying to navigate through current turbulence we may see even more positions liquidated in the coming hours.
Another reminder that trading with leverage is super risky and only few hours of price swings can wipe a lot of positions out of the market.
