Today is the day I reluctantly take some profit

So I live in South Africa, home of the boerewors, Luno exchange, and a concept called Load Shedding. For those of you fortunate enough to live in a country not plagued by frequent electricity supply disruptions, Load Shedding is basically where we have scheduled power outages across the country, at different times of the day for different areas, at different levels depending on how constrained the grid is. This is done in an effort to reduce the load on the grid.

I’m not going to get into how this affects daily life, but it’s become a serious pain in the ass. So today I’ve decided to cash out some profits (I’m actually barely in the green but anyway) and buy a portable inverter & battery setup. I reckon there’s potential for decent ROI because I’d have constant internet access for more shitposting, which equals more moons.
