At what point would you personally start calling this a bull market?

There are many ways I have seen for people to say this is the start of a bullrun or if it’s just a general short green move. I have a colleague who is convinced (due to some expert analytical service he bought) that this is just a bull trap and he is waiting for the crash to buy. (he is even preparing to do some shorting)

I’m a hodler who is averaging down my losses by bear market DCA, but today I caught myself thinking that the green has been going on longer than I thought it would.

For me the difference is: bear: I DCA more. Bull: I DCA less.

What’s your take? What would it take for you to declare: “yep, now we are legitimately in a bull market”
