Yesterday, Ethereum completed its Shanghai upgrade.
I thought it would be a perfect “sell the news event” so I sold some ETH right after the upgrade. I was certain the price would drop the following day so I could lock in a better position.
Woke up this morning: 6% price increase with ETHs breaking $2000 for the first time since last year.
It backfired. Now I’m sitting here looking like an idiot. Crypto served me yet another lesson.
If you’re in for the long term, it’s much safer to hold then trying to time the market and risk losing your position.
