If you could, would you hide your crypto from those you care about?

I know it’s a broad assumption that users here have wealth to hide or a spouse. But there’s so many of us, there must at least a few, right?
More frequently there is news about a spouse hiding their wealth in crypto. In the US it’s difficult / costly to even do transactions, not just hiding your wealth because of stupid regulations and strict KYC. But let’s not forget that the US is just a tiny (four percent) of global population.
Where I stay I could hide wealth in crypto and noone would know where it is or when I turn it to cash. It’s not gonna change for at least some time. To be honest, the bigger concern is how to make crypto available in case of emergency. Noone I trust is able to learn how to use crypto. I never had to hide wealth too. What about you?
