This attacker took advantage of the high volume of traffic on BASE as people were trying to bridge to the platform after $BALD hype. Remember that there is no way to bridge out yet, but people still deposited millions.

Attacker deposited $100k worth of ETH and created 29 memecoins and rug pulled each one of them. People didn’t even take two seconds to search before investing. The attacker was deploying those memecoins from the same wallet.
