Not too long ago I was on the road and coming back home from work, while sitting in the traffic like a zombie like you always do on a Friday I spotted something. I spotted a Toyota with an ” Xrp to the moon ” plate. Initially I felt a rush of excitement. I don’t live in a large country but just seeing that nod to our space in the wild caught me off guard. But then it hit me.
The panic of the realization of the massive target this person is painting on their back driving around with that advertisement. You’re essentially inviting criminals and letting them know you’ve got crypto, they don’t even have to know how much, just that they might strike oil if they target you. And for some that’s enough.
There are several horror stories of people who told the wrong person they held Btc or crypto and they were tortured to death because that’s how determined the perpetrators were to get their keys. Seriously, go look it up. This is becoming a modern crime, people who target those with digital assets. Even if your stash is small, the bullrun will again someday return and then it’ll be all over the news. In these desperate times we live in, don’t let someone remember you as ‘ that person with crypto ‘ once it booms again or it could spell doom for you or potentially your loved ones.
