Why I don’t bother with Ethereum and the rest!

Appreciate this isn’t exactly rocket science but perhaps proves why Crypto for most is too much hassle. Had to remove some funds from an nft platform. Only way was to a hot wallet in usdc. Chose Metamask and transferred it. Came through a week later as the nft platform need to approve transfers! When it arrives I wanted to send to an exchange to sell and withdraw in fiat, can’t do that because I don’t have gas (eth). OK, I’ll convert some of the usdc to eth, can’t, need gas (eth) to do that! Ended up having to put fiat into exchange to buy eth to transfer to metamask to transfer the usdc out to convert to my fiat and take out. What a faff! (I appreciate why the eth network works the way it does, but still a hassle and transfer fees are like burning money!)
