Atomic swap dexes?

As far as I understand, atomic swap is the truly decentralized and trustless solution for swapping token on different blockchains. A precise definition:

“Atomic swaps enable peer-to-peer exchanges of crypto assets across separate blockchain networks. Through the use of a “virtual vault” known as a time-bound smart contract, funds can only be unlocked when both parties deposit the correct amount of assets.”

I wonder what is the progress so far and if there are any good platforms I can try out already?

Moreover, if there are any alternative solutions being developed in the meanwhile? Thanks!
