Beware of opening an account with Kraken

So hear this out: I have been a customer with Kraken for 5 years. Out of nowhere, after the new verification process due to their partnership with DLT, I received an email two sentences short saying they are closing my account. That’s it—no explanations, no apologies, nothing. They keep brushing off why they are closing it down by saying, “According to our policies, we are unable to let you know the reasons.” WHAT? My funds are stuck now, I am unable to withdraw, unable to trade, unable to convert. I am under their mercy. Worst experience ever

Anyway, this is a small rant to let you know to always keep your crypto in wallets away from exchanges. Apparently, they can close your account in the blink of an eye with no explanation. I want a platform that at least lets me know why they are closing my account and gives me enough time to move my crypto..
