Just got into crypto/crypto mining as a 16yo would love some advice

I just stared getting into crypto and investing to see if I can make a little bit of money. I stared using nicehash and I also got Coinbase like 1hr ago and it seems to be glitching already specifically nicehash because after I set it all up and got the app, The app says not mining but the computer says it is? I don’t even know how all this works if anyone has any advice on this topic that would be helpful because I am willing to bet you guys have alotta knowledge in this stuff and it would mean alot if you could help me out.
