It was the glory days. It was 2021 and our magic internet money was going up @ +10% a day. I’d wake up and check my portfolio every morning as I chanted my mantra:
“I am a genius”
“Number go up”
“To the moon”
“Fuck you, normies”
“Charles Hoskinson”
I knew what I was doing, clearly. I did all my own research on YouTube and made sure my ‘investments’ were ‘safu’.
I knew my co-worker was a gambler as I’d seen his stock portfolio. “Follow me” I said, “Crypto is the future”
I’ve since left the job and have had no correspondence with him since. He has now reached out, and all I can think about is -90%
,What do I tell him? Charles? Where art thou?
