How can I stop crypto scammers?

I watched this shit coin called PAE (riparian) go from $80 in may 2022 to $0.03, my bag went from $6k to pretty much zero because I don’t even bother looking. Devs stole about $ 4 million total. They deleted all their twitter and discord activity but they don’t know I figured out their personal twitters before they pulled the rug . Now I see that they are working another project, I reported them to the feds but I doubt they will do anything. What can I do to stop them from doing this again? Also if you’re new to crypto,don’t ever ever buy defi coins. Why? Let me explain like you’re 5 years old. people with inside info are getting them for free and exchanging them for your real money.
