They finally got me. I got had.

Since the start of the SEC v Ripple case I had my XRP on the Binance Chain in my Smart Wallet. I had never sold a single one.

Against every fiber of my soul I decided it was time to take profits and move it from BNB. Also, there was a XRP air drop, apparently for holding XRP on the chain . It said swap or send. But the swap was not there anymore. So I clicked the link. It took me to an XRP site, or least I thought.

It said add your wallet. I did. And then before I had realized what I clicked, I realized I had executed a smart contract. Then I watched in one second flat all my precious XRP leave my wallet. I was only able to get 200 off before… Poof.

Im so angry. I have told my family “maybe after I get paid” so many times I can’t count, stashing away cash for the next bull run and post-SEC case. I’m devastated but I’m obligated to share my story.

If you happen to be in a similar spot as me, please don’t do what I did. If anyone has any advice on possible retrieval of funds, although a long-shot by now, it would be appreciated.

And if anyone can suggest how to tell the wife while still expecting to invest in XRP and crypto moving forward? I haven’t cried this hard since Titanic.
