The cryptocurrency market has had huge swings up and down but through this the top coins have grown steadily. Bitcoin’s cost was less than a dollar 13 years ago. ETH and many other coins have had a similar history of growth. Even with huge downswings, many cryptocurrencies have had a net positive over the years.
Some cryptocurrency investors buy for the chance of immediate gains. A lot of these buys end up being FOMO on a cryptocurrency that is rallying.
Other investors buy crypto with the thought of holding for years, through multiple bull markets. The difference between these buying strategies is trying to get a payout quick vs trusting that the market will overall grow over the years.
Seeing the potential for long term growth, how many people on r/cryptocurrency are in it for the long haul and aren’t concerned about the short term ups and downs?
