Tips on Managing Cryptocurrency Wallet Safely While Traveling

I’m planning a one- to two-month trip around Southeast Asia and am looking for advice on how to manage my cryptocurrency securely while traveling. I intend to make a few trades using a hot wallet like metamask and am wondering about the best practices.

I’m concerned about the risks associated with carrying a cold wallet while traveling. Additionally, I’ll have my laptop with me. Is it safe to use public Wi-Fi such as hotels or trains for crypto transactions, even with a VPN? How do you all manage your crypto during travel? Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated!
