FB, IG and Whatsapp being down shows one of the problems with centralization

So I just wanted to send a message to the lady. We usually default to Whatsapp. My messages won’t go out. “Hmm, weird. Oh well, I’ll try Instagram”. No luck there either, same thing with Facebook and then I remember that damn Zuckerberg bought all these services.

So, that is all the messaging platforms we use outside regular SMS (didnt even occur to me to use it, feels weird although I’m old enough to remember when that was the only option).

This is kind of a scary reminder how big part of our lives can be shut down so very fast if things go south.

Luckily, I remembered one more platform we use. The Satisfyer App. Who knows, maybe this turns into cyber sexy time as a bonus!
