I came across this job posting from reddit looking to hire a backend engineer to create reddits NFT platform.
Part of the job responsibility is to:
Design, build and ship backend services for millions of users to create, buy, sell and use NFT-backed digital goods.
This gives me confidence that reddit are currently in the works to create an NFT marketplace for us to buy, sell, and trade reddit NFTs. They also recently added a “transfer” button in our vault, where we can transfer our NFTs to other reddit accounts and I believe this strengthens the point. Imagine being able to buy and sell reddit avatars using moons on an official reddit marketplace. As a moon hodler, I hope moons will be incorporated into the NFT platform somehow, but for now that is just hopium on my end.
