So I’ve been watching this series. I never watched it in the first place but I have to say it’s actually a pretty good series-in a way.
Not in the sense that it recommends aliens or conspiracies or whatever, but that it opens up some interesting things in history that I probably would have never paid attention to otherwise.
The introduction of puma punku, is one of those things. Now I’m not buying into the “aliens made it theory”, but it is an awesome and stunning example of the things that ancient humans did or could do. If you’ve taken a look at the photos of the rocks and carvings, it’s awe-inspiring that people made those things, moved 131-ton blocks, and did it before power tools. Some of those cuts are incredible, especially for using tools that supposedly are bronze or whatever the hell they are. The serapeum in Egypt, besides the pyramids are also more stunning examples.
I for one, am disappointed that we don’t have more examples of giant stone works being carved or made today. I’d like some giant statues a la-game of thrones seaport, or lord of the rings style.
