This Dude

I was pretty unhappy with the ending for GOT. Like most everybody else, I thought the rushed and unhappy compromised stories between the characters and their respective deaths and endings were paltry and unsatisfying.

BUT:

Then I realized that 1) it’s a tv show. 2) it ain’t my show. 3) it probably was the best ending that everyone could have.

Nobody’s happy, so therefore, that’s the best they could do. IF you go back and really analyze the characters, you can see some outcomes that match the written ones, albeit taking a much, much longer time than it did in the series. Then again, it’s a grown up soap. Killing characters makes people like or hate the show more. In this case, most people hated it. It still got views tho. I’m thinking that leaving things unresolved is a better way to leave the door open in case any thing might change in the future-spin offs and all sorts of merchandising tie-ins!

In any case, quit being babies and go focus on life.
