Technology moves really fast. I did a drone video today, and it struck me how far it’s come. I used to have to mount, calibrate, fly-by sight, not by the video feed, and then hope I got some decent footage. Today, I was able to fly by monitor-and sight-but be sure of the shots I wanted, and then take 4k video, photo, and text them to the client before I was even wrapped from the shoot. Plus the tech is better than ever. The drone compensated for the wind, the breeze, etc, way better than I ever could. It’s amazing how easy it is sometimes to make things. Some people will never know the struggle we used to have.
