Issues! We just got the site back up. For a minute, we didn’t even know it was down. There can be some problems working with engines, updates, software, plugins. For the most part we love WordPress. I have maybe 20 sites based on WordPress, so it’s a useful tool for updates and keeping sites organized. And more complex stuff often breaks it.
In any case, I got an suexec error. If anyone experiences this, it’s often due to permissions. I’ve also found that using dreamweaver or other wysiwyg editors can often screw up the permissions and not correct them properly. I have to log into my main host site in order to ensure they are set properly. In this case, any php file should be 644, and folders should be 755. The index was 0, which means nobody can read it. So we’re back up.
For an engine that’s “free” it’s a great web application that you can really build sites and useful things around.
